Graduation Ceremony Period II and III 2023

FISIP UNAND - In early 2023, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Andalas University once again held the Graduation Ceremonies for Period II in March 2023 and Period III in May 2023. These ceremonies took place in person at the Convention Hall of Unand and the FISIP Building. Nearly reaching a total of 400 graduates, both Bachelor's and Master's degrees were conferred during these events.

In the 2nd and 3rd Graduation Ceremonies, which were held on Saturdays to accommodate a larger number of graduates compared to the 1st period, a total of 354 graduates were celebrated. This count excludes the upcoming 4th graduation in July 2023.

Representatives of the graduates in the 2nd and 3rd Graduation Ceremonies were chosen as the best graduates from each period. They expressed their gratitude to the faculty members for their guidance throughout their education and also extended thanks to their parents for their unwavering support.

Following the speeches by the graduate representatives, the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences UNAND, Dr. Azwar, M.Si, delivered a speech. He congratulated the parents for successfully guiding their children to complete their education at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Andalas University. He also congratulated the graduates and emphasized the importance of their academic achievements, enabling them to use their degrees according to the regulations of the faculty.

The Dean of FISIP encouraged the graduates to continue improving their technical skills and emphasized the significance of their roles, especially in the current political landscape, to educate and assist the community. He reminded those entering the workforce, whether starting their own businesses or working for government or private institutions, to remain idealistic.
